Group Incident Rate
The incident rate for the Year 2010 stands at 3.6 and is the lowest recorded annual incident rate in Gladedale Group history.
This compares as follows:

The Gladedale Group historically set themselves an informal target of achieving an incident rate of 'less than 6.0 ' which was deemed at that time as being achievable and indeed this was achieved.
The Group target for AIR in 2011 is ‘’below 5 per 1000 at risk although we are driving for incremental improvement year-on-year. That challenge has unanimously been taken up by our operating Business Units ‘’
Manufacturing
There has been no further Injury sustained within the Manufacturing Division and the Reportable Injury level remains at 3 for 2010.

This may well be explained by an increase in Construction activities in 2010 as compared to 2009. However we must take the opportunity to refocus our attention on this major potential for injury or formal enforcement. It is not lost on the Group that an ''A Rating'' reflects a situation where a person is, or has placed himself and/or others at imminent risk of serious injury or ill health; evidential of a systemic breakdown in the application of approved Group Protocol or failure to heed previous competent advice on a matter of some importance I high level potential risk.
