Bett Homes excels in creating homes and environments in which its customers enjoy living.
In everything we do, we aim to provide a customer experience that proves our commitment to quality.
Since the establishment of our business by Andrew Bett in Dundee in 1938, Bett Homes has endeavoured to provide quality and value for money. Initially our main business was in building local homes and shops in Dundee, but from the early Fifties onwards we began to focus on building private family homes, with significant expansion across Scotland.
The business was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1967, and later expanded throughout Scotland and into the north of England to become a leading UK housebuilder. In 2003, Bett became part of the Gladedale Group, and in 2007 the company was re-branded as Gladedale. As one of the largest housebuilders in the UK, the Group has since achieved Top 10 status.
In 2009, the Group made the decision to return to its regional brands, subsequently heralding the return of the Bett Homes name. This structural change has created a regional business true to the initial values set by the Bett brothers in 1938, and has returned company focus to the heart of local communities.
Currently, Bett Homes can be found in all major cities in Scotland, from Aberdeen to Glasgow, as well as in many surrounding areas. In recognition of public awareness of the brand, our operations in the north east of England also operate under the Bett Homes name.
